Paris - Florence - Marrakech photo diary

A long overdue photo diary of my trip to Paris, Florence and Marrakech with my family back in April. It was my first time in Morocco, and I just loved every bit of it, from the friendly locals to the delicious cuisine (my favourite being the chicken tagine) to the beautifully tiled interior of basically every place we entered. We spent our first night at the charming Riad Palais Sebban, hidden in the Medina of Marrakech, before traversing the Sahara Desert where we found ourselves caught in the middle of a sandstorm, which was kind of really exciting. The cherry on top though, had to be waking up at 3am one morning, hoping on our camels and taking a leisurely ride up sand dunes, in time to watch the sun rise as it slowly peaked through the horizon. A beautiful moment I will forever have engraved in my mind.

As soon as I saw these over the knee wedge boots, I knew these babies had to be mine. They have a way of making me feel empowered somehow. Not to mention they're the closest pair I'll get to the G's for now.

White on White

[Obey varsity jacket, Nasty Gal white top, Forever 21 white skinnies, Aldo black ankle boots, gifted black shoulder bag]

The second day of the Lunar New Year brought beautiful weather and my family and I decided to lunch by the waterfront in Stanley, which is often where we like to spend family time on a clear blue sky kinda day. I tend to gravitate towards the whites when the sun is out....so without hesitation I grabbed the first white top in sight and my one and only white skinnies, and completed my outfit with a recently purchased Obey varsity jacket and black accessories to counteract the all-whiteness going on.

A shot of neon.

[Lush neon yellow chiffon shirt - similar here, Zara skinny jeans - similar here, Zara black suede heels, vintage Prada chain shoulder bag]

After weeks of sun deprivation, I instinctively whipped out my blinding neon yellow shirt as soon as the sun decided to make an appearance. I just love the way the shirt drapes in the back. I paired it with acid-washed skinny jeans cuffing them at the ankles, along with my current favourite essentials - Zara's pointy black heels and vintage Prada bag given to me from my dear mother who decided to hand them over into my tender love and care. I happily accepted this request.

Graduation.

[Zara high low dress and heels.]

It didn't take me long to figure out what I wanted to wear for this occasion, as my eyes were immediately drawn to this pure white loveliness. I paired it with some simple heels with a pop of colour, creating my ideal outfit to celebrate a major milestone in. Just the way I'd like to salute fairwell to this chapter of my life.
